  1. Nov 5th 2007 EmperorLinux Rhino and Wasp Reviewed in Linux Journal
    The December issue of Linux Journal contains LJ's 2007 laptop buying guide, which includes reviews of the EmperorLinux Rhino D820 and Wasp CF-19 rugged tablet. Linux Journal was impressed by our products, noting "In our experience, EmperorLinux is hands-down the most fanatical vendor regarding attention to detail and making sure every feature works well under Linux."
  2. Sep 10th 2007 EmperorLinux Rhino Upgraded to M6300 Series

    The Rhino gets an upgrade! The Dell Precision M6300 series brings up to 2.8 GHz Core 2 Extreme processors to the Rhino. Other highlights include full support for up to 4 GB RAM, the highest-performance NVidia 3-D graphics available on a laptop, Blu-ray drive, and fingerprint reader.     The Rhino D830 (based on the Dell Latitude D830) will remain available.

  3. Aug 31st 2007 EmperorLinux Scarab Upgraded to CF-52 Series
    The Scarab gets an upgrade! Based on Panasonic's semi-rugged Toughbook 52, rugged features on the Scarab include a shock-mounted hard drive and full magnesium alloy case. New features of the Scarab include Core 2 Duo processors, up to 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon X2300 graphics, and a wide-screen display.
  4. Aug 7th 2007 EmperorLinux Raven X60 Tablet is Linux Journal's Ultimate Linux Laptop
    We received our September issues of Linux Journal today and were delighted to learn that the EmperorLinux Raven X60 tablet was named Linux Journal's ultimate Linux laptop. Linux Journal was particularly impressed by the Raven's ergonomics, our support for its tablet features, the biometric fingerprint scanner, and the EmperorLinux manual.
  5. Jul 25th 2007 EmperorLinux Toucan and Raven Upgraded

    The Toucan (ThinkPad T Series by Lenovo) and Raven tablet get an upgrade! The T61 and X61 series bring Intel's new Santa Rosa chipset to the Toucan and Raven tabet lines. Highlights include Core 2 Duo CPUs up to 2400 MHz, a faster front side bus, and full support for up to 4 GB RAM. The Toucan is now available with NVidia Quadro graphics, as well.

    The Toucan T60 and Raven X60 tablet series will continue to be available for a limited time.

  6. Jul 24th 2007 See EmperorLinux at LinuxWorld August 7-9

    EmperorLinux will be exhibiting at the LinuxWorld Expo in San Francisco, CA from August 7-9, 2007. We'll be in booth 726, and we'll have a variety of our Linux laptops and notebooks with us and ready to test. EmperorLinux customers, contact us for a priority code for registration.

  8. May 21st 2007 EmperorLinux Rhino M90 Available with Blu-ray
    The EmperorLinux Rhino M90 is now available with internal Blu-ray. With this dual layer drive, you can burn and read up to 50 GB of data on your Blu-ray discs (data I/O only in Linux). You also get all the funtionality of a DVD and CD burning and playback.
  9. May 1st 2007 EmperorLinux Laptops Upgraded to Solid State Drives
    The Caiman ATG (Dell Latitude ATG series) and Koala D420 (Dell Latitude D420 series) are the first EmperorLinux laptops to take advantage of solid state drive (SSD) technology. What are the advantages of an SSD? It is higher performance (nearly 2x faster), more rugged, and lower power than traditional a hard drive.
  10. Apr 18th 2007 EmperorLinux Exhibiting at IT 360 in May

    Come visit EmperorLinux at our first trade show appearance in Canada. We will be exhibiting at IT 360° in Toronto, Ontario from May 1-2, 2007.   11. Feb 16th 2007 Avoid the "Windows Tax"

    Select EmperorLinux laptops based on Dell and ThinkPad models are now available to us without any operating system pre-installed by the manufacturer. This lets us offer the systems to you with only the Linux distribution of your choice installed and without requiring you to pay the "Windows tax." Contact our sales staff to find out which models are currently available under this program.

    For those customers who need to operate in both Linux and Windows environments, we will continue to offer dual boot options on all our laptops.

  12. Feb 9th 2007 EmperorLinux Introduces the Caiman ATG
    EmperorLinux introduces the Caiman D620 ATG line of rugged laptops. The Caiman is based on the new Dell Latitude ATG series of laptops. The Caiman meets MIL-STD-810F for vibration, humidity, dust and altitude. The addition of onboard EVDO and GPS make the Caiman both tough and mobile. Like the rest of our Dell laptops, the Caiman is configurable.
  13. Jan 26th 2007 EmperorLinux Exhibiting at LWOSS in February
