Linux tablet PCs can function like normal laptops, but their screens can swivel and close facing up, hiding the keyboard. Their LCD screens enclose a digitizer, allowing pen-based input both as a mouse and with pressure sensitivity for writing on the screen. A suite of tablet-specific tools is included, including handwriting recognition software.
