EmperorLinux regularly visits trade shows on the east and west coasts of the
US. Trade shows give our customers a chance to talk to our
Linux experts and try out a selection of our
latest Linux laptops.
We appeared at the
LinuxWorld Conference and Expo
in San Francisco, CA from Aug. 7-9, 2007.
We were in booth 726.
Guests of EmperorLinux could download a pass
for free admission to the LinuxWorld exhibit hall and a discount on conference
programming.
Linux laptop and tablet systems that were available at the show for
customer demonstration included:
- The new Rhino D830,
with 2.4 GHz (with Santa Rosa), a 1920x1200 LCD, and a full 4GB RAM.
The Rhino D830 was selected as a finalist in the Best
Desktop Solution category for the LinuxWorld Product Excellence Awards.
- The new Toucan T61,
bringing 4 GB RAM (and Santa Rosa) and widescreen to the T series.
- The new Raven X61
tablet,
now with a Core 2 Duo and 1400x1050
LCD.
- The new Koala D430,
weighing in at only 3 pounds, and 1" thin, with a 1280x800 widescreen and dual core CPU.
- The rugged Tarantula CF-30,
meeting MIL-STD-810F.
